Suncoast Community Legal Service are an independent, non-profit community organisation providing free legal advice, referrals and education.
I am disappointed that the State Labor Government has cut funding by approximately $720,000 over the next three years to the vital community service.
That’s why I invited Shadow Attorney-General David Janetzki to help me overturn this funding cut.
The LNP committed to overturn Labor’s funding cut as part of our election commitments and I am calling on the Labor Government to urgently provide adequate funding so that the Suncoast Community Legal Service can continue to meet the needs of vulnerable constituents who are in need of advice.
