Up we go again…in the quarter to June, ramping at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) has climbed to a disturbing 52%, up 19.5% compared to 12 months earlier.
This data is according to the new Queensland Health data.
SCUH now has the fourth worst ramping levels in the state. That means that over 50% of all patients are waiting longer than the clinically recommended 30 minutes before receiving treatment.
Labor is losing control of the health system – when a government loses control of a system, people lose their lives.
It’s time the new hospital beds at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital were brought on line to fix delays in emergency departments.
