Thank you to everyone that completed my 5 second survey, I had an overwhelming response which shows how much the Sunshine Coast Community cares about where they live. From the survey I can confirm that 91% of people who responded from Mooloolaba and 98.1% of Alexandra Headland do not want the light rail option. I continue to work with the Mass Transit Action Group (MTAG) and The Beach Matters Group and community members to hear your views about the type of infrastructure you want to maintain and enhance our Sunshine Coast liveability and economy.
I will say again that we need an integrated transport plan with the right infrastructure, currently that is not the case. I will let you know when the Sunshine Coast Council Public Consultation commences.
