Who took the laptop from the Integrity Commissioner? Why did they take it? What was wiped? Who benefited?
These questions deserve answers. Government in the dark leads to corruption. These issues matter because corruption leads to bad decisions made for people’s mates not Queenslanders.
Labor lobbyists have become entwined with donations to the Labor Government and secret deals driving decisions for government mates.
The role of the Integrity Commissioner is to uphold the integrity of the lobbyist register and monitor the industry. She has bravely spoken out about interference with her role. Her office was then raided.
There needs to be an independent inquiry – a full royal commission – into these issues which include other senior whistleblowers who have spoken out about political interference int their statutory independent roles.
Queenslander’s deserve better than dodgy, rotten governments that serve themselves and their mates and not the people of Queensland. Queenslander’s need a FULL Royal Commission now.
