Media reports regarding the cosy relationship between CleanCo, the Labor Government and Labor lobbyists are deeply concerning.
The Crime and Corruption watchdog has already warned the government about “sham” employment contract arrangements to avoid lobbying laws and here it is plain as day.
These dodgy practices have to end.
Taxpayers are the ones losing in this situation and this government just doesn’t seem to care anymore.
Instead the Labor Government is more focused on lining the pockets of its Labor mates.
It makes absolutely no sense as to why a government owned corporation would need to use taxpayers’ money to fund a government relations program run by Labor lobbyists who then donate huge amounts to the Labor Party.
This whole situation is crooked and Queenslanders won’t like how their money is being funnelled and washed through lobbyists to the Labor Party.
Queenslanders deserve a lot better.
