With only 12 months before the 2024 State Election on 26 October, we’ve released our “Right Priorities” document outlining key priorities based on feedback from Queenslanders. These are:
- Making our community safer
- Easier access to health services
- Saving you paying for Labor’s failures
- Securing our housing foundations
- Working harder for Queenslanders
Policies under this key areas will be released progressively in the lead-up to the election on top of the youth crime policies we’ve already launched.
The focus on helping turn around the exodus from home ownership in our state so more young people can aspire to have their own home is one of those policies.
Queensland used to have far higher home ownership rates and now as a State we’re the worst in the nation. I applaud our leader David Crisafulli’s announcement that this is a key focus we will be addressing.
