The Department of Education, Training and Employment has announced the opening of round two of their Supporting Women Scholarship program for women considering future study in agriculture and environmental studies, architecture and building, engineering, earth science, or information technology.
Scholarships of up to $20,000 are available for study from Certificate IV through to postgraduate courses commencing in 2014. Scholarships are open to women who are leaving school, returning to study or changing career to encourage women who are interested in pursuing study and employment in traditionally male dominated fields and skill shortage areas.
