77,000 fewer homes have been built since 2018, in the middle of a Housing Crisis, due to Labor’s CFMEU tax. What an impact these additional homes would have had on keeping rents down and house prices down enabling Queenslanders to buy a home they can afford.
The Queensland Productivity Commission’s Interim Report revealed that if BPIC – Labor’s CFMEU Tax – had remained in place until 2029-30, it would have also cost Queenslanders over $20 billion in extra construction costs.
