The results are in and it’s clear that when it comes to celebrating Australia Day the Sunshine Coast knows how to do it best.
After a response to our recent community poll, the verdict is strong: a BBQ or a day at the beach with friends is the most popular way to celebrate Australia Day.
Australia Day is an opportunity to come together, reflect on what makes our country unique, and celebrate the friendships and freedoms we enjoy. It’s no surprise that so many people choose to spend it in true Aussie fashion… relaxed, outdoors and surrounded by friends.
