The Premier has advised at this stage that Queensland’s mandatory mask-wearing policy will be eased from 6am this Friday, 23 July.
Restrictions easing will include:
- You will be able to visit loved ones in aged and disability care and hospitals.
- Pubs, clubs and cafes will be able to increase the number of customers from one per four square metres to three per four square metres.
- Dancing at public venues will be allowed.
- Private gatherings of more than 100 people in homes will require the host to take contact details of their guests.
At this stage if you are entering from a New South Wales hotspot you will need to complete 14 days of mandatory government hotel quarantine at your expense. A hard border is still being considered with NSW.
