These grants are based on the payroll size of your eligible business. The Federal Government has stepped in for this funding and matched the funding effectively doubling what businesses would have otherwise received, which was a fantastic announcement.
COVID-19 Business Support Grants for lockdown-impacted non-employing sole traders – close on 30 November 2021:
You can now apply for this one-off grant and you must make sure you are eligible at the time of your application. You should also check if you are eligible for a COVID-19 disaster payment from the Australian Government, if your income has been affected by the Queensland lockdowns. However, you can’t receive both the disaster payment and the business support grant.
Unlike other Queensland Government Business Grants that have been available until the funds are exhausted, all eligible businesses who apply for a grant during the 3-month application period will receive funding.
