A hard-working charity helping provide low-cost groceries to low-income families and feeding the homeless has received a major boost.
The LNP announced we will work with the Everyday Foundation to establish a new supermarket premises to help community members suffering from the cost of living crisis in Nambour.
This low-cost grocery store, a not-for-profit charity based in Nambour, services much of the Maroochydore electorate as well with low-cost food, emergency relief, meal programs and school pantry initiatives to help the local community on the Sunshine Coast.
Funding $1m of renovations to the new premises will allow Everyday Foundation to expand their current services helping people struggling to make ends meet.

Everyday Foundation Operations Manager Karen Gullo welcomed the announcement and said it would help his organisation reach more people.
“We will be able to include accessible access for those needing to get to our supermarket,” Ms Gullo said.
“Our incredible volunteers last year distributed more than 52,000 free meals and provided low-cost groceries to 1000 customers a week at our existing Food Outlet.
“We know there is need; we bring hope to those that need it.”
