The growing use of the drug ICE in our community and the devastating impact it is having on families is a huge concern. Not only is ICE highly addictive, it has become increasingly available and it is commonly used.
It is heartbreaking to talk to grandparents who are full time carers for their grandchildren, due to drug addiction of parents. I am concerned that more needs to be done to tackle the drug epidemic, particularly in regional areas like the Sunshine Coast.
