I was very happy to see the re-instatement of the Australia Day Awards through Sunshine Coast Council for 2026. It’s a chance for all of us to nominate someone in our community who we believe needs a shout-out and recognition for the amazing things they do to build the lives of others.
The power of our community is through those who give back to others by seeing a need and getting involved in making a difference. The 2026 Sunshine Coast Australia Day Community Awards will be held on 23 January. Nominations close 30 November 2025.
