Local sports and community groups in the Maroochydore Electorate have received a welcome funding boost of nearly $230,000 in grants as part of a the Crisafulli Government’s record-setting round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) grants.
The recent round of grants will be paid to seven local groups in the Maroochydore Electorate, including:
- Cansurvive Research Association will receive $34,500 to purchase medical equipment;
- Maroochydore State High School will receive $35,000 to upgrade a kitchen;
- North Shore Multisports Association will receive $35,000 to purchase a mower;
- Sunshine Coast Baseball Association will receive $35,000 to replace the back nets;
- Sunshine Coast Citizen Advocacy will receive $35,000 to purchase a vehicle;
- QF6 Mooloolaba Volunteer Coast Guard will receive $20,073 to purchase a rescue boat trailer;
- Your Best Life Disability and Health Services Ltd will receive $35,000 to purchase a vehicle;
