Local community groups, schools and Councils are invited to apply for grants of up to $20,000 to help improve safety for all road users.
Groups have until 26 May to submit their application for funding under the Queensland Government’s Community Road Safety Grant Scheme which provides grants for small-scale, short-term road safety projects.
Road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Local initiatives run by community members such as bicycle safety, child restraint education, learner driver mentoring programs and driver awareness programs are effective ways at helping to keep people safe on our roads.
