Clive Palmer shares his vision for the Sunshine Coast

More than 200 Sunshine Coast business people packed out the Maroochy Surf Club to listen to successful Queensland entrepreneur Clive Palmer's vision for the coast.
Hosted by Member for Maroochydore Fiona Simpson, the event was keenly attended by key representatives from Sunshine Coast Council, University and TAFE as well as Business and Tourism sectors.
Having recently acquired the Hyatt Regency Resort at Coolum, Mr Palmer's passion for a vibrant and growing Sunshine Coast was clearly evident in his upbeat address.
Mr Palmer spoke about the need to sell the Sunshine Coast to the Chinese and Japanese tourism markets with simple but effective marketing strategies to let Asian tourists know what the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
