The LNP team is strongly committed to building the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.  This is some of the Coast’s most important infrastructure and is desperately needed to address the current needs of our population and future growth.  

The LNP is committed to:

• Build the Sunshine Coast University Hospital without delays and without excuses.
• Deliver the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for the Sunshine Coast without imposing additional taxes such as  Labor's intended $7,000 stamp duty tax hike.
• Finance the construction through a Public Private Partnership that delivers the promised health services for residents and value for money for taxpayers.
• Bringing world class treatment facilities to residents of the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, including with medical teaching services.
• Identifying key health issues in the Sunshine Coast region to ensure residents' health needs are addressed in their local area
