Maroochydore Road duplicated

This four-lane upgraded road was a win for the Maroochydore Electorate which I am pleased to have helped bring to fruition.

Initially the Government wanted to build a two-lane bypass which would have meant that drivers were exposed to on-coming traffic which is an issue in high speed environments.

Fortunately I was able to keep fighting to have the road four-laned with separation from oncoming traffic.
